And, the gold goes to…

The Cupcake Bar had an amazing opportunity to be part of Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah planned by the extraordinary Caplan Miller Events. The JW Marriott’s ballrooms were draped in red and checkerboard along with countless steel city props, one would believe they stepped out of a hotel and onto an F1 racetrack.  There were tents with activities and different food stations, guests were blown away at the imagination and creativity. The kid’s ballroom loaded with games from game plan entertainment,  and incredible music from Texas Pro DJ! The adults ballroom included incredible floral from Botanical 9, bands and the most gorgeous lounge furniture from Townsley Designs! Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah should take the gold for most theatrical party of the year!

Credit to our lovely cupcake bartenders who dressed the part with race car jumpsuits and bright red hair kept the guests energized the best way we know how – with SUGAR! We created a custom doughnut wall with J and N (Jacob’s initials) shaped doughnuts along with tire doughnuts and the fans (aka Jacob’s guests), loved the themed pastries. We also served caramel apples, each unique and made to order allowing the guests to pick their own apples, drizzles, and toppings.

Wedding Love: Sarahbeth and Lilli

A night filled with family, love, cupcakes and doughnuts, Sarabeth and Lilli had the sweetest of evenings as they celebrated their marriage and bond with their loved ones. Held at the fabulous Peached Social House, guests snacked on good food and mingled as they commenced in the union of these two brides on a gorgeous Austin, Texas evening.

Sarabeth and Lilli had a special private ceremony with immediate family and friends months before, but of course still wanted to celebrate their marriage and host a reception – one that would be equally as sweet and special as they are.

Dessert interaction was key to these lovely ladies celebration. What better way than to experience sweet fun then adding in our doughnut and cupcake bars! As if choosing between doughnuts and cupcakes wasn’t hard enough, guests also had a variety of toppings, fillings, and icings to personalize in their sweet treat, in their own way. Most guests opted for both, because why not!? Rainbows were an important element to incorporate into the décor for the brides, so we subtly integrated it with our gumballs, ribbons, and topping choices. However the real jaw dropper was our edible rainbow doughnut wall! Guests had a blast capturing the delicious backdrop taking selfies – because after all, how many times can you take a bite out of the wall!?!
