With Valentine’s Day approaching, love is in the air and red is everywhere! We couldn’t help but remember one of our favorite weddings when The Cupcake Bar joined Esther and Richard in a celebration of their union. This party would have made the Queen of Hearts proud. Red roses everywhere contrasted with stark white linens and dazzling jewel touches, the room was beautiful, breathtaking, and romantic.
The couple wanted a magnificent candy display as the focal point of the grand foyer in the lovely and luxurious Four Seasons Hotel ballroom. Esther made sure all her favorite candies were included: white malt balls, anything and everything sour and gummy, and it all had to be red, red, red! We were sure to include Richard’s favorite, too. Twizzlers. Not Red Vines. It had to be Twizzlers!
Situated on a round table in the center of the room, we created a three hundred and sixty degree candy experience— gorgeous, inviting, and tasty from every angle. We supplied guests with custom candy bags commemorating the big day with a sweet sentiment printed on each:
“A sweet ending to a sweet beginning.”
And a sweet beginning it was! At the reception, guests cut a rug to music spun by the talented Miles of Texas Pro DJ and puffed away on hand rolled cigars. Thousands of red roses, arranged by the brilliant Bouquets of Austin kept the eye moving and the room smelling of delicious flora. Pearl Events dazzled, as always, with meticulous attention to detail, making the couple’s night one to remember. Pamela Hults and team took the most gorgeous photographs of the epic evening, and we have them to thank for the stunning look back on this momentous occasion. Huge shout out Townsley Designs for helping our candy bar reach greater heights, quite literally! And we can’t say enough about The Inviting Pear and their stunning design work throughout the event.
