An iconic power plant anchored in downtown Austin, the Seaholm Lawn is now one of this city’s newest event spaces. This beautiful green lawn is surrounded by the area’s classic art deco architecture fused with unique and modern finishes. What better way to formally introduce this new event space than to throw a launch party - sweets and balloons, included!

Planned by the phenomenal Red Velvet Events and designed by the fabulous WHITT Experience, the Seaholm Lawn was transformed from an empty lawn into a community backyard filled with snacks, cocktails and small bites being served from Peached Tortilla and us - The Cupcake Bar!

We featured our brand spankin’ new floating treat trays, branded and customized just for this event! We worked with our partner, Nate the Great, in adding the giant balloon art to our trays mimicking Disney Pixar’s classic “Up” scene, truly giving the illusion of floating trays. Guests enjoyed being served red velvet cupcakes and caramel apples in such a unique and fun way! Each tray was branded with the event logo, to give it a special touch.

However, the best part was the surprise guests enjoyed when the sun went down and balloons lit up. It was the perfect glow to light up the trays and keep the party festive into the night.
