Say no more! By now you know that here at The Cupcake Bar, we love all things magical so being part of Vu’s “Vunicorn Ball”, his annual soiree was truly a dream! If you don’t know Vu’s fun personality— he creatively incprorates his name into each party and graciously raises money for a wonderful cause. Our last event with him, Feliz Na-Vu-Dad, was also one for the books!

On top of celebrating some of the most fabulous “party unicorns” in Austin, this sparkly soiree also brought awareness and support to our friends at Out Youth Austin and Vu & friends raised over $5000! Out Youth serves the Central Texas LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies with programs and services to ensure these promising young people develop into happy, healthy, successful adults. What an amazing turn out it was!

Where to start on the treats! It was hard to narrow down the endless options here but we knew two things were a must: glitter, (custom) rainbow icing, sugar and topped with sweet fun!

Our treat table served up sugar in many forms: cupcakes, donuts, macaroons, rock candy, gumballs, lollipops, and candy necklaces for all! Each candy got to try on a new, unicorn themed name for the evening. Quite frankly, we may just refer to rock candy as “unicorn horns” moving forward. It’s definitely the right thing to do.

It was truly a joy to let our inner unicorns fly, because let’s face it— who doesn't want to be a unicorn?! Thank you, Vu for hosting such a fabulous event right here in Downtown Austin for such a wonderful cause!
