We’re not sure where the idea of the Happy Hour came from, but it’s a concept we fully stand behind. A designated party time--every day!? Yes, please! As party professionals, we live for celebrations of any kind.
And we’re loving how people are still making time to meet with friends and coworkers, even if social distancing means Happy Hour looks a little different these days. While we, too, are eager to share some laughs with our friends in person, we have to admit--Virtual Happy Hours do have some advantages. Our commutes are a lot shorter, for one. (There’s hardly any rush hour traffic in the hallway.) Plus, there’s never any wait for a table, and the bar is always pet-friendly.
But if we’re being honest, what we love most about Virtual Happy Hour is that it can happen any time, any day--and be totally customized to you!
So when SourceDay asked for our help with making their Virtual Happy Hour an epic event, we could not have been more excited. We curated a branded event kit for their employees that was full of sweets and surprises, including cupcakes, custom drink mixers, and noisemakers.
We worked with the team at GG & Co. Event Marketing to make sure our kits perfectly captured the spirit of this virtual event, which also included a virtual performance from Randy Rogers Band and Gonzo Viz live-sketching all the action. We did contactless delivery of the party-ready kits to each of their employees so we could delight them at their doorsteps. We also offered a contactless pick up option— complete with a silly hat to set the tone! How fun is that?!
Our event planners also worked with NI to design an interactive Virtual Happy Hour featuring our cupcake kits! We curated a customized combo of flavors, icings, and toppings to complement their corporate mission. We even brought the wine!* After all, what’s a Happy Hour without a tasty beverage (or two)?
We had a blast customizing these event kits for our friends at SourceDay and NI, and we always love helping businesses celebrate and show appreciation. The folks at Cirrus Logic and Twisted Pixel Games sent some of our treats and custom cupcake kits to their employees with April and May birthdays. We worked with M/I Homes to provide sweets for their tenants, and critical employees at NI received our cupcakes, too. We’ve also helped companies announce the news of their launch with custom boxes delivered to their customers!
